Aybar or Asdrubal Cabrera @ backup SS ROS who you taking?

I am leaning towards A Cab because I feel he has more upside potential than Aybar and I feel Aybar is on a decline atleast in terms of speed. This is not my starting SS this is just a bench spot and occasional utility use. My starting SS is ECab.

This is coming from an Indians fan, take Aybar. A-Cab has nothing to offer you, imo.

I would take cabrera, because he has better potential to be a Full time starter. But if you already have strenght at starting then who cares... they both are not the greatest, and dont do much for the bench...

Would much rather hold a bench spot for players like gregory polanco, oscar tavarez. Jonathan singleton, etc...

I agree with this....

either that or you can stream hitters with good matchups. I don't see much value in using a bench spot for a mediocre back up SS.

Im in a 12 team 28 player dynasty league. None of these guys are available. If I don't hold onto a descent backup SS then I will have to scuffle between guys like Aybar, Jeter, Crawford, Aviles, etc...

Aviles would be a good pick up. He's getting more at-bats since they're letting him play the outfield now. He's come through in the clutch a few times for the Tribe.

I'd prefer Aybar over Cabrera.

I myself am happy with my 2 Cabrera SS situation on a team, so I would stick with that. In fact, with E Cabrera not stealing many bags, he is starting for me less than A Cabrera at the moment.

Andrelton Simmons was released so if he clears waivers I may add him over A. Cab. I'm not sure if we all really know who Simmons is though. In the minors he was a speed guy and had very little power. In the big leagues he has shown more power than speed. So I think it is kinda hard to guess what to expect from him. He surely has more upside than A. Cab and probably worth holding onto in a dynasty league.

ROS Chisenhall or J. Harrison?

Chisenhall is going to play more consistently, but Harrison is the guy if you need position flexibility.

I like Chisenhall to produce more simply because he has a more clear path to playing time.
