According to Jason Garrett, Romo had back surgery early this morning and is done for the season. Kyle Orton will get the start.
Their playoff chances just doubled.
Man if they do get in the Romo haters will be out in full force.
Man if they do get in and win a playoff game the Romo haters will really be out in full force.

If that happens, could you blame them?
You mean in fuller force than they already are? If the guy fucks up in practice he gets crucified.
Not when it counts he isn't.
When has Orton played well when it counted? There's a reason he's not a starter.
There's a reason he's a journeyman QB.
Bears, Broncos, Chiefs.
This might actually be a GOOD thing for the 'Boys. It will force them to run the ball more and when they do that, good things happen.
Yeah I've been wishing they would run the ball more, but I expect the Eagles to stack the line and blitz Orton often.
And they now have Jon Kitna as their backup.![]()
Someone would get a late christmas present if they should win their game against the Eagles.

Yeah, the #5 seed. The 'Boys would take the east and be the #4 seed at that point, hosting the 49er's I think. Either them or the Saints.
I think the 5 and 6 seeds beat the 3 and 4 seeds next weekend, regardless of how is it shakes out.
