Agree and that's also why I think Watts career is coming to a unfortunate early end. Especially, production wise.

They don't have to wait until June 1st though to designate him in that way. Teams are allowed I think 2 players that they can cut now but still get the benefits of say cutting them after June 1st.

It might be the case. All new staff need OL two playmakers at skilll positions. Middle of D fixes. Poor early round drafting has caught up with us a bit. We need one of our young QB's to make huge strides in training camp. This draft is huge for short term imo. Elway really needs to nail it or we might have a few lean years around here. No not in panic mode no need to be. Interesting to see what we do this year.

This is what I would do with Dallas and Romo.......Agree to 8 mil back up salary and if you start 7 or more games and lead Dallas to NFC Championship the bonus goes to 16 guaranteed and if SB, 20. Guarantee Dak will impersonate Kap and RG3 in their 2nd seasons and Romo will get the nod, earn his SB and then ride off into the CBS Sunset. Everyone wins but Dak and Houston.book it
