He just signed a record extension with the Pack thru the 2023 season. Like a lot of Bears fans, I love/hate the guy. He beats the snot out of us a hell of a lot more than the other way around. A career record of 15-4 against us with a collective 107.2 passer rating in those games. I've said it on a number of occasions, he's the best in the NFL, bar none. And that's really saying something considering the likes of guys like Brady and Brees still throwing it around. Plus Rodgers is a class act. The Packers every year get overhyped when it comes to preseason predictions and I think this year is no different. But in fairness that overhype is a result of having this guy as their starting QB. He's THAT good.

The contract is absurdly front-loaded. 164 million with 103 mil guaranteed. 80 mil of that guaranteed cash to reach his bank account before the end of this upcoming March. Good god!

Hopefully this contract is it for him... but who knows? I love watching him, but the sooner he's gone. The better.

Bears are trending up, GB's window is closing. I can't wait for the Bears to bear down a 100 million dollar QB.

Good for him. The huge qb salaraies tend to limit teams growth in other areas, so that’s good.

Well we'll just have to agree to disagree here, altho I might go with Brady being the best over each QB's respective entire careers. He really has had an extraordinary career. But as of the past 4-5 years, I don't think anyone has been quite in Rodgers' stratosphere. He's every bit the passer that Brady and Brees are, plus unlike them, he can also use his legs as well.

Brady has had the GOAT career. He deserves to be #1 on the list.

However, I think just from a pure QB standpoint. Rodgers is the greatest the league has ever seen.

In today's QB friendly game maybe. Stats are so inflated nowadays.

Oh, obviously. You pretty much have to divide QB numbers up by decade. I tend to look at early 80's and prior as it's own era... mid 80's/90's as it's own, 00 to 10 as it's own and then 2011 and on. Each of those time periods saw noticeable spikes.

You have to look at how QB's measure up relative to their counterparts which they played along with. Not greats from 20-30+ years prior.

I wasn't speaking about statistics, however.

Rodgers has a way better arm than Brady but it's a team sport.
I can't say this on the Pat's board but you guys can keep a secret right?

Nah,Brady has had the better last 5 years imo……And Brees,I`ll take him over Aaron too...….I think a lot of people are stuck on Aaron for his uncanny ability to throw up the hailmarys for game winning tds…...which is just pure 100% luck.

Aaron Rodgers has had a stellar wr corps every single season too.....Jordy Nelson has been a beast and been with Rodgers since day one(9 yrs),Tom has had different wrs pretty much thru his whole career.(granted he has had good ones)
Randy Moss played 3 seasons with NE..….and the only part of Tom`s career where he has had better is the TE.(which I believe is the best ever at that position also)

Rbs go to Aaron...…..
O-line maybe about as equal as they get...….

Nah,give me tom and Drew.………….

This is an impossible statement to justify. I'm sorry... Brees has had very few years that fall into Rodgers territory.

Rodgers supporting cast has also been horrible. His O-line, run game, receiving game... everything. The run game and O-line especially. A total joke. A huge criticism of GB's FO. This isn't a conversation.

I don't even know what you mean with the hail mary stuff. No one actually takes 3 fluke plays into account when evaluating all-time greats.

This is just... I... whatever. This isn't an argument you can actually quantify with numbers. You're just saying incorrect stuff man.
