Trying to understand that. So what kind of software do you use? Something very specialized that I've never heard of probably?

its called syteline

i get CAD drawings from companies who need a device (we now do bolt receivers for AR-15's too, among other weapons)

the software we use shows what materials (tubing) we have available, and i put in the desired sized and tolerances (i.e .0324" outside diameter, .1362" inside diamter, ± .005" tolerance on both) and i find a way to draw/grind that material to size, then i start the fun part...

shaping

i dont do that physically, in have a floor of guys that make it for me, i just calculate the math involved and price it accordingly

nerd!

You have enough brain cells left to do shit like that? Sounds pretty interesting. I converted architectural drawings into AutoCAD for several years and really enjoyed it. That was back in the day when AutoCAD R14 was revolutionary. Then I went to work for a sign company designing signs using proprietary software and loved it. Your stuff sounds very interesting. Are you ever able to work from home?

This is the least I've ever cared for who wins an NBA Championship.

Yup it must be the magic age of 40

The only thing that mildly interests me is that Timmy gets another ring and San Antonio fans are way better than Miami fans. So I guess I'm slightly leaning toward the Spurs.

This might be the first day of the season that I don't watch a single baseball game.

I think the Rockies are getting ready to set records for offensive futility. They will be in the NL West cellar in now time.

And I hear that Happ wants to be back after the All-Star Game.

They take head injuries so seriously anymore that I'd be surprised. What do you think?
