This is a good move....a Lil backup LB protection.......
Nice! I was worried about losing him. What is the number?
(All of these moves make me think a long term deal is almost done with Orakpo and his cap hit will be going down)
so far allen is playing this out very well great job
Now if Allen is as smooth with the draft as he has been with FA..... DAMN.
Thats all I can say.

I was, too. In fact, I was surprised we brought him back. He proved to be good insurance, when Orakpo went down in 2012. In fact, he was more a true LB. He is very good in coverage and made some key INTs. He's not the pass-rusher that Orakpo is, but still.
He can't cover anybody. His INT weren't in coverage...he fell into the zone and Romo didn't see him.
His coverage is not good though. That's my only point. The INTs weren't in coverage...they were fortunate. I have never seen him run with a TE...RAK has since his rookie season.
Completely diagree. Jackson isn't the pass rusher Orakpo is but he is better in coverage and in the run game. I agree he isn't as fast as Orakpo.
He is not the overall player Rak is by any means but brings solid back up skills. I don't recall if Jackson plays ST, does he?
