I have no doubt at all they will fail to reach 90. This team has no clutch hitting and not one of their starters is pitching well at this time. They will come up short again.

I agree. The August team was left back in August. This is why I NEVER get too high on this franchise. I envy those who can, but that will never be me. I have seen too much of the crap version to ever believe they can sustain anything positive.

I never watch the postgame but I just did today. Excuses after excuses. Suarez couldn't hit because of all the excitement of being back home. Woo started slow because they were trying to get him in a groove to start the game. There was another one I forgot but burned me when listening to it. And of course your point. The only truth he said was that you can't give up 3 walks, 4 HBP's, and 2 errors.

He was on most pitches but always seemed to miss 1 pitch per AB that totally changed those AB's. They hurt.

Disagree. It was in the box. Even if it was low, the camera said it wasn't, you still have to protect the plate with two strikes. You are old like me and remember the days that was a common practice. Protect the plate and live for another pitch.

Who the hell is Julio to bitch about a called 3rd strike when he swings at pitches ALL FUCKING year long a foot off the plate or bouncing in the dirt
When the game is on the line and last ups ... you DO NOT take any pitch near the zone when you have 2 strikes on you ( you go down swinging )

I got a really bad feeling about this current road trip ... as in we may lose it all before we get back ( and never get back in the hunt for division lead this season )
