Yeah. That is best .I can think of .
The team struggles cause they're trying to hit the long ball on every swing. JRod excelled in August cause he wasn't trying to mash it. He made solid swings and got on base plus his HR's went up. along with the rest of the team. After the Mets series the hitting coach should have been in their ear keeping them refocused on what was working.I agree except for Suarez. .230 is his career average so he is who he is. Why he lost all his power? That I don't know. But ya he, whoever he is, hasn't helped France or Julio with the exception of Julio for a few weeks in August. It is just real weird how we struggle to do basic things like move runners over, move them in, make contact, etc. That to me is 100% on the hitting coach.
Is it bad I was still worried seeing Munoz in the 9th even with a 5 run lead?
El toro..matador.de.desastoroI would feel the same:
Words of our skip "no lead is safe in this ballpark" hahahaha
I saw on MLB Central this morning he hung another cheese dick slider right in the wheelhouse and someone took him yard in the 9th.
I don’t think you can put that on a hitting coach. The team is literally built to be a swing for the fences. You got Julio, JP and whoever is in LF. Everyone else ceiling is a very low on any real old school stats. Let alone the offense was built, except JP, that they are streaky hitters. I won’t put Julio in that category yet but everyone else looks like an all star for awhile then minor leaguers other times. The team struggles cause they're trying to hit the long ball on every swing.
