No not really. We just had bases loaded in the top of the inning and Arozarena rolled one over to 3B for the final out. Then M's just kind of fell apart in the bottom of that inning. He wasn't really getting pounded just nickel and dimed to death. A blooper between JP and Arozarena that seemed to hang in the air for a long time but fell giving them first and second. Then the next guy grounds to Williamson who had it roll up his arm loading the bases. Then a basic hit and another basic hit. Just not enough to say he is getting smashed but all of a sudden it is 6-1. You might as well let him eat up hitters. Just a bad day that seemed like we all saw coming. I wrote the win off last night after our victory so I am good with it.
The road series on either side of that homestand isn't a gimme either. Thanks for the breakdown
They had a pretty good run for about a week of being the windshield.
They had to be the bug sooner or later.
Pretty tough Home stand beginning next weekend with Toronto and New York
I hope they put up a good showing for the hometown crowd.
