It's still in play. Albeit a long shot, it's still in play. If the Bengals, Broncos, Chiefs and Patriots all end the season at 12-4...the Bengals are the #1 seed.
One such scenario:
Bengals win out
Broncos lose 2 of their last 3 (vs. Chargers, at Houston, at Oakland)
Chiefs lose 1 of their last 3 (at Oakland, vs. Indy, at San Diego)
Patriots lose 1 of their last 3 (at Miami, at Baltimore, vs. Buffalo)

I know...I know...extreme long shot but if Broncos lose tonight, things will tighten up.
They can still get the #1 seed by finishing 11-5 but it's a little more convoluted. Link below for that.
