Last year? I'm talking about since 1981. You haven't won a playoff game since 1981. Say what you want about Flacco he wins in the playoffs and u can downplay his stats all day but when the chips are down in the playoffs he is clutch.
Like I said win a playoff game then ring that bell u always wanted too til then it's still the regular season and it ain't over yet.
We are well aware of our playoff struggles. But actually we won one in 1990 over the old Houston Oilers. This team under Dalton is only 0-2. His rookie year they were just happy to be there. Last year they made some progress but honestly weren't as good as Houston. Still with 3 minutes to go Dalton overthrew a wide open AJ Green in the end zone, which would have given them the lead. This team is deep and I believe they are ready to advance, finally. They are trending upward. They are in the best position at this late point in the season since the 1988 season which they went to the Super Bowl. Old history means nothing to these guys. Most of them were either not born yet or were young kids the last time the Bengals won a playoff game. The 90's and early 2000's they only had one non losing season. Pretty rough on our fanbase. I hope you never have to deal with a similar decade +.
Losses in 2005 and 2009 mean nothing to this team. This is a whole new group, and the most talented and balanced team they have had in 25 years. I'll take my chances with them in the here and now.
