On April 7, four-star defensive end Demarcus Walker visited Gainesville for the Gators' Orange and Blue game. One week later, he was in Tuscaloosa for Alabama's A-Day. When asked to describe which one he liked better, it wasn't even close between the two SEC schools.
"Alabama was way better, the crowd and the competition were amazing," Walker said. "Seeing players competing and going all out, it was really good."

It goes on to say the highlight of his day was the walk of champions ceremony, where Barron, Richardson, and Hightower added their hands and feet with past legends in the sidewalk near Denny Chimes. He really enjoyed hanging out and talking with Hightower for 15 to 20 minutes, just talking about Hightowers time here at Bama, and how much he liked it.
He's now scheduled a decision date, but he's still undecided, he says Alabama has greatly improved in his eyes, and they are doing a great job of recruiting him.
