People have bitched over the years, but it is nice that we can hold people to their words and they are forever. Most of the best highlight threads on this site wouldn't have been shit if people could undo their own damage.

From avi bets, to outrageous claims and predictions. It's awesome to have that proof forever.

I looked at her & said, well, you better get me locked up for good because you pull a stunt like that & it's the last one you'll ever pull.

Child protective service not called, she's still alive. Guess you can teach them something.

The good there is that I like being able to edit a mistake, like I made with a link.

The good here is that you are stuck w/your words & can't go back & delete something, then claim you never said it.

I would hate having to screenshot everything some asshole says just to post pics later or some such shit. Now it's just saving a few links to glorious pages.

The midnightangel thread slamming the Seahawks in a game they should have lost... only to come back is legend here. It pretty much made her quit the site on the spot. So many examples.

True but I put in an incorrect link to something important & then when I realized it, I couldn't edit it. So there are a few negatives to not being able to edit.

In some ways, I wish they had something like the delete post option, where there were a few legitimate times we could edit.

I never worried about the screen shot because if someone quoted their post, the original showed up, not the edited one. So there was still evidence of abject stupidity

The infamous thread that killed a poster from the site. Dumping the fuck all over Seahawks fans in a game they trailed and looked entirely dead in... only to come back and go to the SB. Internet gold. And it wouldn't have happened nearly to this extent if you could edit posts after the fact.

As for bad links and whatnot. we all do it. You just make another post and retract/edit/fix your shit. It's really not a big deal to most here.

Took AG like 2 years to get used to it though. There are at least 5 or 6 threads he fucked up making that turned into massive romp threads full of joke gifs or just about anything else.

Ask AG what he thinks about the 5 minute limit for editing/deleting your own posts.

Most of us can ask a Mod to make changes for us if it's legit and they will. Right @AlaskaGuy

Besides being an "ungraceful" child, she rode & showed horses so she was always walking thru the door with bumps, bruises & cuts.

During one annual checkup w/her doc, she'd been thru a particularly "ungraceful" period. The doc looked carefully at each one, then asked her..where did you get all these bruises.

She says, Oh my mom said to tell you that she didn't do any of them.

I just closed my eyes & said "Shit".

He looked at me for about 30 seconds, then burst out laughing. He knew she rode but for about 30 seconds, my life flashed before my eyes.

Mr. BG & I were in Key West & found this floating remote control shark. We were going to buy it, sneak into her house (we have a key) and quietly float it into her bedroom.
