I was going to mention this one from your list. It's my favorite, as not only did we come back from down 3-1, but it was the start of our 11-0 run to close out the Cup vctory, stopping Chicago's own 11-0 run.

Not quite. You won three straight against the Caps in the first round, but went down 2 games to 1 against the Rags in the second round - Ron Francis scored the OT winner in game 4 to begin that 11 game streak.

The Sabres have held him off the score sheet twice in the last few weeks. Maybe Dan B should call Nolan and ask him for the game plan. It seems like they keep him wide and get a body on him every chance they get. Now if they could figure out how to do this against the other teams in the NHL they might be onto something.

Yeah JD, The thing with OV is he seems to be streaky, He goes on a tear then cools off for a bit. He's a great player but seems to me he has his hot and cold streaks and before Caps fans jump all over me I would take OV's cold streaks in a Sabres uni in a heart beat.

Yes, but that's more of a gimmick game with rule changes that day due to weather conditions.

I think OV is motivated when he plays Geno, and Sid too, but I tend to think he likes to be the "best Russian", and Geno's always there lurking. They asked OV today about playing those two, and he said they're "two of the best in the league" and then said he himself was in the "top 15".
