Anyone else think that maybe richie is hurt? For all the crap we give him (alot of it deserved) during the regular season. Has he ever not shown up for the playoffs before? Cant help but think there is something mentally or physically wrong with our captain.

Shoulders have been an ongoing issue with him the last 2 post seasons. In 09 i believe it was revealed after the season that he had 2 partially torn shoulders and played through it. I think he has been hurt for quite some time now, and realistically they should have probably made him sit back then instead of letting this drag into the playoffs. I don't question the heart of richie, i think he has it to take us there. I just think they gave him the C a little too early. Can't take it away now, that would only hurt his progression.

Hasnt been dominant, but definitely a factor. My understanding is that he is one of the worst physical specimens in the locker room. Maybe it is time that he started acting like an adult and work out a bit. He looks tired to me.

Yup. I've heard that about him as well. I remember in recent years one of the Flyers players were making fun of him and said that he had the body of a 12 year old. Maybe he will sack up and lead by example this off season and do some weight training like Giroux and JVR have been doing.

He already has the attitude and meanness. He would be a beast if he added some muscle.

He has to have some lingering injuries but who doesnt at this point of the season? Hes been quite so far because his line is to shut down the top scoring line of the other team.

He had 10 shots the other night. He's doing ok. Tim Thomas just shut us down.
