They did Retro, but Johnson and Richardson are pretty much the same type of back though with Johnson being better slightly.

There's also Chris Ivory, Bilal Powell, Mike Goodson, and Alex Green to compete with. Richardson should beat out most, but the top two are likely still Johnson and Ivory.

I would say Johnson lately is a bit better than Richardson, but his ceiling is obviously way above Richardson's.

Perhaps Red. The Auburn running back we drafted may need surgery as well. So perhaps we may see Richardson again.

Tre Mason sure as hell did not look like he needed any type of surgery at rookie camp on Friday. Looked full speed to me.

Yeah, i didn't see Richardson lasting too much longer there after Zac Stacy did well last year.

I must have received some bad info KSUDodger. There were some reports on Foxsports and Yahoo Sports that he may require surgery. Until further notice, I'll assume he is fine.

Richardson was cut perhaps due in part to his feet injury problems or it may have been a numbers issue. Mason has a Scaphoid problems (wrist bone). That may affect how tightly he can grasp the ball but his wheels are fine. WE shall see how this devlops as we go forward.
