Not true.. Allot of times contact is initiated by receivers... Putting a feeler out and grabbing someone are 2 different things... Look around the league on how many times were watching receivers push off and run directly into DB's ...

Agree & it is really tough for DBs in this era. Sherman is obviously a very good player. However - he probably needs to tone it down a bit & not feel obligated to open his his mouth on a constant basis. It is really starting to get old.

Garcon "doesn't matter in this league" it is important to remind Washington fans that there was one fan of this team who stood against an avalanche of criticism when I stated flatly that Garcon is not a true #1 receiver. Maybe that is what Sherman inarticulately was referring to.


To those who want to recite Garcons' stats from a season ago, I'll say this.....where has he been this season? Was it not too many of you who declared that DC now has 2 #1 receivers? What you all failed to see was that Garcon's numbers a season ago were inflated because on this team he was THE ONLY option though even in that capacity he didn't scare anyone.


I said it then and I'll continue to repeat it......P. Garcon is a CAREER #2 type receiver......Contrary to what Mr. Sherman says, he does matter in this league, but only when he's paired with a true game changer.
