What wasn't noticed in Thursday's game was that Ribeye played well. If this guy turns it around that would be huge for us. Ribeye and Moses starting RG and RT for 2015 looks very possible.

I didn't say he was a pro bowler but he held his own. Put it this way there was no difference for having Ribeye out there vs Levuno

The Redskins line is not going to hold up when everyone in the park knows they are going to pass. That is why getting down by a couple of scores does them in. This line does not block well on 7 step drops. Kirk was holding the ball longer than his previous games because he was trying to get the points back quickly instead of being patient and getting the ball out quick. For this line to be successful the QB has to get the ball out quick on 3 and 5 step drops with only the occasional deep drop.

Exactly. Whats even more ironic is our WR talent excels at yards after catch. You don't need a 50 yard toss for a big play. You can get it to Jax, Garcon or Roberts and each can take a 10 yd catch to the house.

Our line is not made to sustain blocks, but to beat the opponent to a point and pick them out of the play. That's what zone blocking is all about. We need to decide what is more important, quick, agile OL that can get to the outside to seal off a running lane or big strong anchors that can fend of a horde of attackers as well as push a DL off the LOS in a power running scheme. We can't have both.
