Can't believe this nonsensical and pointless thread is actually on page 3. Oh well, I just added to it.

there has been rumblings about it and they are talking about it on NFL Network

he'd make a great backup in new England. when TFB retires in 5 years, RG3 will be taught well and injury free.

this is a great idea. how do we get it published?

What actually thinks RG3 is being traded is nuts or just a opposing team fan who wants it to happen. Snyder wouldn't dare or even think about trading the "franchise" QB as many has called RG3 unless we were guaranteed 4- 1st rd picks and still I would pause to do that trade. I shutter thinking back the last 15 plus seasons who are QBs were and I thank my lucky stars we finally land one that I feel will be a keeper for years to come. We can finally stop saying each year, who should we draft, acquire for our qb next season. This is a pointless topic which I in fact responded to. Damn you countryroads for bringing this up.

Ok dad, RG3 even being mentioned to be traded is ridiculous at this point. And I can't wait to thump Dallas!!! :yahoo:

IF we want Bradford, we could just wait until you cut him for cap reasons. :)

Shanahan and Snyder aren't the sharpest tools in the box, but I doubt they'd give up RG3 for Bradford in any scenario. I'd be overjoyed if that ever happened, because Bradford is the most over-rated, sit down to pee wennie in the league, but believe it or not he still has his fans in St. Louis. Obviously I'm not one of them. Bradford wouldn't make a boil on RG3's butt.

It was one of your fellow Rams fans who brought up this idea (in jest no doubt). No Redskins fan would consider this stupid idea (even the ones who don't like RG3).

Ok.... Last chance. Bradford for RG3 and tapioca puddin all over a hot Russian woman and you got a deal.

You already have given us a shit ton of pics, but then it would hilarious to end up with the QB you gave all those picks for.

Admittedly while highly unlikely such a scenario would transpire, I believe it's not out of the realm of possibility. Stranger things have happened in the NFL. If you remember Washington and Cleveland were both interested in Bradford before that draft. I don't know if either would have given up for Bradford what Washington did for the right to draft RG3, but they were willing to give up a lot. If both franchises have become disillusioned with their respective QBs at this point......I'm not saying, I'm just saying....Perhaps the thought would be that both would benefit from a change of scenery. Probably just a pipe dream, but that's what a lot of the content of these boards are....pure speculation.

This idea is beyond "highly unlikely" - it is completely ridiculous. First of all - RG3 is not going anywhere & nobody in the Redskins organization even hinted at this - this is just idle speculation from sources like NFL Network that are thrown out for the sole purpose of filling air time & boosting their ratings - I guess some people fell for it.

Beyond that - even if the Skins were considering trading RG3 whey would they be looking for another starting QB? If this ever happened they would simply promote Cousins & then look for a low cost backup. Lastly - Bradford has missed significant time due to injuries in 2 of 4 seasons & doesn't show signs currently of being one of the better QBs in the NFL. Why would the Redskins even be interested in him? End of story.

Pay attention to what I wrote SoCal. I said it is highly unlikely, but as far as what NFL teams do, you or anybody else on these boards, including myself don't have the final say on shit, so don't proclaim "End of Story" like you're the say all and end all. I suspect that you don't work for the Redskins organization so you have no more insight than anybody else here, and your opinion is no more valid than any other. I didn't hear the NFL network story on RG3 trade speculation, but if in fact they did report it, or even suggested the possibility, I would put more credibility into what they say than what you have to say.

The Bradford trade started out as a joke, but I took it a step further as in the realm of possibility. As I said, stranger things have happened, so as unlikely as it seems, if there is a new coach and a new offensive system in Washington next year, who knows. Maybe RG3 gets traded for another player or draft picks. That's what you get on these boards--speculation, kibitzing, etc. from the fans. It's all done mostly in fun, at least for most. I am certain of one thing though. Just because you proclaim "End of Story" doesn't mean squat.

What would the market for a qb who may or may not be athletic and lacks the confidence to make a NFL caliber pass be?

So Bradford was a guy that I really thought had a chance coming out of college. I was hoping the skins could land him. I haven't followed his career that closely, it always seemed he was injured. What happened to him, was it just injuries, or does he lack skills?

Skills Bradford has, but brittle he is. Massive offensive line he must have to survive.
