Newton destroys the NFL as a rookie, suffers the sophomore jinx( a lot of it being terrible defense as well ) considered a bust, everyone says "we knew he was no good anyway, too dumb to excel in the pros" ....year 3...people are raving about Newton's leadership.

RGIII breaks Newton's rookie records, destroys NFL, makes the playoffs....gets injured...comes back too soon, too dumb to read defenses, washed up...year 3???

Agree. Too funny that people run with some stupid rumor (which is all that it is) from the media. Also - people will run with whatever is in agreement with their position. Some of the same folks will dispute any of the Shanahan rumors since they don't like it. I also find it amusing that several people here are basically advocating the Snyder kneejerk reaction approach & the same folks will badmouth Snyder till the end of time. Kind of hypocritical.

I really don't think the problem for you guys is RG3. He is a heck of a talent that doesn't come along very often. The problem is your coaching staff, namely Shanahan(s) which the owner will remedy after the season. Being a Rams fan, I'm just thankful for Shanahan's buffoonery at this point. But after this season we don't have a horse in the race so then I'll be back to rooting for Washington. Be thankful you don't have idiots like Romo and Garrett and Jerry Jones like they have in Dallas!

One freak injury doesn't equal injury prone. Everybody predicted this with RG III's dumb and reckless running style. Don't know why skins fans denied this. Last year all the hype had him as the best in the rookie class and close to a top ten QB. Now, he's not even close to a top 20 QB and has fallen behind 3 other QB's in the same draft class.
