Looks like he'll have Manning, Ware and Dez Bryant rated ahead of him.

Agree or disagree?

Approaching it from a team building stand point, If I was starting a team today and could pick between the 4, there's not even a hesitation that the pick would be RG3 from my point of view.

Yep - relatively meaningless list especially in terms of Bryant. A WR without an effective QB does not mean much. See Fitzgerald, Marshall, A. Johnson, etc, etc, etc. That is why I don't get too worked up when people on forums like this one claim that the team needs to have a "true #1 receiver". It really is not that important.

Eli= yesterdays news
Ware= yesterdays news
Dez= probable jail time in future
RG3= roy, determination, drive to be the best, leader, extremely hard worker.

Yea, not a hard pick. Was it not for his knee injury he would have been 1st.

Lets take a step back on rg3 for a minute
he was a rookie last year
In my mind he is the best player in the East but I understand why non Redskins fans would have a different view

I'd go Manning, RG3, Ware, Dez, McCoy

Manning has the rings, gotta respect it
RG3 has the youth, leadership, athleticism
Ware is still one of the most feared front line defenders in the league
Dez is still getting better (needs to learn to play in motion) but physical and dominant
McCoy is a game changer if he is healthy

I guess it depends on how he defines the top players. Are they the ones you would take to build a team? Or are they the best individual players? They aren't necessarily the same. In any event, until rg3 proves his health issues are behind him, I can see him not being #1. But I would definitely have him above ware. Dez is an impact player, no doubt. But he needs someone to get him the ball. For this reason, no WR could be #1. So I guess Manning and RG3 would be my first 2, I would personally take RG3 over manning because he is much more a versatile threat as well as being much younger.

If RGIII comes back in full health and has the season we hope he has then the 1+2 spots are switched. At this point I would not bet against Eli, but what RGIII brings to the table picks up the whole team and then the whole team plays harder. We saw that at the end of the year the Defense did a great job when RGIII went down, because they did not want to let him down. If they could have done that all year they would have been top 12 in the league. Bryant and Ware are the best at their positions, but as a previous poster said, they will seldom determine the outcome of a game on their own.

. Dez is not the best wr in the east

Really? Who is? He's the one I that I would be concerned with the most. Not saying he's the best in the League, but he tops out the list in the NFCE.

Well he originally said AJ Green before he deleted that, so...

AJ Green is a stud. Give me Dez. If you want a WR thats definately better than Dez, there's Calvin Johnson and......a couple who are very similar, Green and Julio Jones

True, but we are only talking NFCEast players.

I know, I only expanded it because he brought up AJ Green. In the East, its not debatable IMO

I think Dez is the top WR in the East, but still interested to see what a health Nicks can do in NY. He has the tools, and with Cruz drawing top defenders he could have a good year. Maclin is a beast as well, but hurt. DJax is better than he let on last year, having a QB that could throw would help him as well. As for our hosts WR's, I thnk Garcon has the size an speed but just needs another good season to show he's a legit #1. I've never been too impressed with Morgan, but he is a solid #2.
