Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the Rangers have a better record than the Tigers, they'll have home-field in the first round and play the wild card, likely Boston, since the Angels and Rays are also losing, correct?
Otherwise, if they have a worse record, then they play the Yankees at NY??
Not that the Rangers can't beat the Yankees at home (again), but playing a struggling Boston team at home sounds much more appealing and gives nice symmetry to the season.
So does Wash rest the starters or not?
