One of the most unselfish and misrespected future HOFers in league history…

Oh yeah, and Norman Powell leads the current #5 seed Clippers in scoring at the midway point of the season.

Who could’ve seen this coming? Having Harden helps…

Unselfish, yes.

He could have saddled his teams w/ garbage long-term contracts until he's 38 (like a certain other guy), but he has not done that. And his teams always win, including today.

And he's even let Norm Powell take over the lead scoring role in Inglewood...

LOL.

No, he couldn’t get a long term deal like that because of the stunts he has pulled at various times in his career quitting on teams he has played for.

Best believe, if he could have got a full supermax deal with max years he would have taken it.

Opportunity was there in both 2022 and 2024, but he took short deals both times... Opted into his deal in 2023 because his boss promised him a trade. Kept him into camp... Yeah, I'd be pissed too.

Daryl Morey is incompetent and the vurrent win disparity between the Clippers and Sixers proves it.

Did he take short deals?

Or was he offered short deals?

Nobody giving him a long term max at 30 something after how he left Houston.

I can see it now:

GM’s assistant walks into the boss’ office

“I have an idea, let’s offer a full max to James Harden. I know he has forced his way off of 3 teams, but things will be different with us. Besides, he is like 35 now. He has probably matured.”

GM response:

“Please hand in your resignation immediately.”

Would've could've shouldve... Point is, he could have held out of his promises the way golden boy PG did. He didn't, and the Clippers have a team-friendly deal on their hands as a result... And are winning. Without Kawhi for the most part as well...

But but but... "Harden don't perform in postseason!"

OK fine, one is entitled to that opinion. But what postseason accolades does Paul George have under his belt to warrant $55 million a year in his upper 30's?

That's what separates smart executives from dumb ones, which Morey is the latter.

Morey doesn't even need his assistant to offer suggestions... He's dumb with or without him/her.

Dude.

James Harden is not unselfish.

Quit while you are behind.

Maybe focus on his teams always winning and maybe people won’t bring up that the way he has left his teams is like 10 bajillion times worse than what you hate PG for.
