Isn't the Lambeau field game considered a home game for Wisky anyway? We sure heard that over and over when we played BSU in Atlanta. Amazing at the hypocrisy if there is a way to spin it anti-SEC. I love it by the way ... the minute you guys stop whining I will realize that the college football cycle is cycling.

Lol at team SEC.

Uh, that's kind of what the thread is about ... that LSU and Bama are "afraid" to go to Wisky.

I love neutral site games ... they typically have two good teams, its a blast to go to them as a fan - sort of like a pre-season bowl game - and often they are really good games. Great way to kick of a new year of college football.

My point is that Neutral games are never really neutral. One team always has the travel and crowd advantage which makes it far from a "neutral" game.

Case in point, Lswho going to Lambeau for a "neutral" field game against Wisky.

Is say that bama vs USC game in Arlington should be pretty neutral. And what a great recruiting opportunity for both teams.

I'm pretty pumped about that one. I was 3 the last time they played.

That is one of those games you find a way to go see because you may not get another opportunity. Hell, I'm making damn sure I find tickets to the Tennessee game.

So, you don't like them and I do. Fair enough. Moving along, nothing else to see here.

LSU also backed out of a home and home with OU.

Barry publicly courted home and homes before you all agreed to the neutral site games. I'm not sure why this article was made besides page views. We all knew this and I even mentioned this before.

I'm also a little dumbfounded why they are trying to compare LSU and Bama. LSU is going to Lambeau, which takes guts. Bama wouldn't play us up north. We both have 2017 open, so hopefully Saban mans up and plays us.

A Badger! On 'SportsHoopla! Just keep in mind what Bucky says (F**k 'em!).

The last time I checked bing, Green Bay was about 147 miles from Madison, Houston is 260 miles from Baton Rouge. Referencing Lambeau as a "neutral" site is almost like calling the Superdome "neutral" for a LSU game.

And the point of this thread is?

It's a neutral site, you have even tickets etc. If your team doesn't travel well to the site, then your fans suck. I would have thought LSU fans would fill their tickets.

The game is still a month away, trust me LSU fans will easily outnumber any that Wisky brings.

LSU ticket office today announced there are 1000 tickets left , having sold 35,000 tickets, 10,000 over their original allotment of 25,000. (Wisky returned 10,000 of their 25,000 ?)

I agree that the good thing about neutral site games is that they are typically a matchup of good teams that we wouldn't normally get to see and they do often have that "bowl game feel" to them.

However, to me they should be the exception, rather than the rule they seem to be becoming. For example, USC and Alabama have a game scheduled for 2016. I'd much rather see that game being played in L.A. or Tuscaloosa as part of a home and home.

However, if the choice is neutral site or no game, then I'd prefer the neutral site.
