Yeah, probably the same reason that Bama cancelled the "home and home" series against Michigan State in 2016/17. Bama said it was due to a "scheduling conflict".

Eh hardly a shcok. I mean its not new territory. Bama and LSU have COBINED to play 7 true road games OOC in the last 10 years ( and 2 of those were Duke and Tulane ). Thats 7 out of 80 OOC games played in a true road environment so hearing neither team wanted to go to Madison is not big news.
