i wanted to post eagle on a pole but couldnt find a good copy.................interesting story

joyner/oberst were touring together and they drove by a "eagle on a flag pole"....or they thought it was an eagle

anyways.... the whole bus decided to have a songwriting contest , the song had to start with the lyrics "i saw an eagle on a flagpole"...........

simon wrote his song superfast and beat connor oberst but conner got his on a record sooner
