Heard a interesting rumor on why big bang is ending

The Big Bang Theory is ending because of Jim Parsons

I watched Shazam a couple times. Fox has a pretty daughter.

I haven't watched TBBT since season one. Is Jim the big draw to the show?

I liked season one. Season two, meh. Less of Marlon would be better. He is 90% of the shows. Bring him down to 65%.

I agree. That was the best episode of the season. I do like how they air the show. Two episodes a week.

The problem is the only characters who are really interesting are Marlon and the wife.

The other episodes I really liked are Pilot (OH HELLLLLL NO) and the one when he coached the basketball team.

That's a big problem. They're not developing any of the characters. Develop the wife's hot friend. Marlons jokes about her are funny. I'd like to see her fire back at him.

I have Xfinity and they have a box in the lower left hand corner of the screen when you paused something and walk away for a few minutes. As I understand, it's one of the top rated comedies. Hard to imagine that apopular show gets axed.

Then again, George Clooney walked away fronm a medical series that was very populer. And he only made $239M last year.

Clooney had world class looks and charm and could easily move to other things.

Parsons seems like a lock to be a type cast situation. Maybe he'll get some other parts like Daniel Radcliffe, but can he build anything bigger like Clooney did? Doubtful.

he's already earned a nice amount from the show, how much does one need?

Macaulay Culkin was on Joe Rogan the other week and they brought up this show and how he turned down one of the leads because he didn't have any desire to do it. he said, sure, he could have made a bunch of money, but for what?

if he wants to just retire....sure, that's fine.

But again, so many of these actors/entertainers/athletes end up broke anyway. You might as well maximize your earnings window while you can.

Maybe he can do enough "nerdy" endorsements and commercials, plus cash royalty checks from BBT syndications that he never has to work much again. That's great if he can.

but if this is a clooney situation it's a mistake IMO.

to be fair, they were never interesting.

There was potential there with Amy in particular. The way the presented her initially was actually pretty good. Then they turned her into a whiny needy female who pandered after Sheldon dying for any semblance of affection. She turned lame AF in a hurry.

I think they implied that but weren't explicit about it. Not sure where it will go. But I liked the two leads so hopefully they can bring both back without being outlandish.
