Manning is the greatest regular season QB of all time. I don't deny that.

Yes. And I agree that his playoff failures are the reason he can't be the GOAT.

Yeah, I remember when I said it. I like Auburn, and like Cam as a QB of Auburn, I just didn't think he would translate to a quality NFL QB that was more than a scrambling threat. He is proving me wrong, and that is okay. He is doing well, I am happy for him, just never thought it would happen.

Doesn't it suck to always be wrong?

How is New England stopping the run? They were supposed to be soft in the middle after the injuries.

How are we getting pressure and stopping the run?

We were supposed to be done after losing Atkins, Maualuga, Hall, Lamur, Mays.

Next guy just steps up. Parity in the NFL is so good, because the quality of players coming out of college are pretty much the same level anymore. That is why it is so cloudy to predict anything from teh end of the 1st round on. Guys like Burfict go undrafted and become studs, etc.

I agree to a certain extent. I think it has more to do with the quality of the coaching carousel in the NFL (which is shit) and yes, I do think these games are rigged. I really do. I think that plays a bigger factor.

I'd elaborate more, but I'm just too lazy to do so.

Wl, I think coaching plays a huge part in t hat as well. Why someof those middle of the road players go on to success, while otehrs fail. Some coaches know how to get the most out of their players.

Always nice to see the Pats lose on a bad call, which is rare.

I hate to get our hopes up, but there's a chance, by the next time the Bengals take the field they could be tied for the 3rd seed, and a 1/2 game from the 2 seed.

If Tubb's favorite QB can beat New England on Sunday night, and our old friend Carson can do us a solid and beat the Colts, we'd all be 7-4, with a tiebreaker over the Pats. But we all know if this happens, we'll lay an egg in San Diego.

I'll shut up up now. I'm still drunk.

I love Brian Leonard. I'll admit that. A Leonard FatHead would make a great Christmas gift for me.

I was hoping with Martin and James down he'd be the man...

then comes Rainey running for 163, if we're down to our 4th string rb we start with the excuses.

Cincygrad's Don't Argue With Me Unless You're Ready to Go to Dayton Top 5.

1) Joe Montana
2) Tom Brady
3) John Elway
4) Peyton Manning
5) Dan Marino

Please note that I don't give a fuck about people like Rodger Staubach, Jonny Unitas, or YA Tittle. I have no idea if these guys were good. Dudes were smoking cigarettes and drinking beer during halftime during this era. And I never watched any of them play. If I put them in a top 5, I'd just be trying to look cool.

Man do I feel old. I can testify to the fact that Staubach and Unitas were really good. Tittle retired before I was old enough to know anything about him.
