Montana had Rice, Taylor and Bill Walsh -- Young replaced him and won it as well.

Brady had/has Belicheck.

Big Ben had the running game, defense, and a team commitment to performance enhancing drugs.

Elway didn't win until he had Terrel Davis and a good D.

I guess that really just leaves Kurt Warner and Aaron Rodgers as true winners.

Fuck Elway too. Both he and Manning are 6-15 all timers. Not top 5 material.

Who's your top 5?

I'm gonna take a stab...

Aikman, Brees, Montana, Rodgers, Big Ben?

Cincygrad's Don't Argue With Me Unless You're Ready to Go to Dayton Top 5.

1) Joe Montana
2) Tom Brady
3) John Elway
4) Peyton Manning
5) Dan Marino

Please note that I don't give a fuck about people like Rodger Staubach, Jonny Unitas, or YA Tittle. I have no idea if these guys were good. Dudes were smoking cigarettes and drinking beer during halftime during this era. And I never watched any of them play. If I put them in a top 5, I'd just be trying to look cool.

Young's prime was dominated by the Cowboys.

Manning's prime was dominated by the Patriots.

In general, Manning did more with less.

I'd like to nominate Joe Namath because he tried to grope Suzy Kolber.

Graham? Unitas? Stop.

Well since Unitas is widely thought of as one of the top 2 greatest QBs of all time, yeah I'll take him. Graham won 7 championships as a QB.

In a pussified time for offenses sure.

He's definitely had that benefit later in his career..... But his early failures against the Pats were back when Bellicheck was still allowed to instruct his corners to r*pe receivers on every play.

Manning is the greatest regular season QB of all time. I don't deny that.

BTW.... Young played the beginning of his career at a time when teams could still be stacked and parity didn't completely exist. The DeBartalo 49ers were stacked at all times.

Young's prime was dominated by the Cowboys.

Manning's prime was dominated by the Patriots.

In general, Manning did more with less.

Young also was a bust with his first team.

I don't think there's an argument for Young unless you say it's strictly because he's more mobile
