Rematch vs Wisky

Man oh Man… I've never been the type to look ahead, but the matchup everyone predicted to happen has come to fruition. I'm pretty excited… chance for revenge. Wisky is a great team, and if they beat us I hope the can take down UK, if we beat them… I hope for the same. I almost feel like the FF will be the Championship game in a way. BEAR DOWN!

But don't overlook the other half of the bracket.

Duke isn't to be taken lightly, and the Zags have a legit shot too.

I'll never be convinced Kaminsky is anything other than a puss.

Kentucky is going to destroy either team. I think the UC game may end up being the closest score.

There isn't a team left in the field that is tough enough.

Maybe NC State or Mich St.

You have to beat Kentucky at their own game. You have to pound them. Irritate them. Arizona or Wisconsin can't do that. Duke can't do that (Okafor will get owned).

Damn...if beating North Carolina when they went 8-11 on threes before garbage time and only committed 4 turnovers isn't impressive, I have no idea what we'd have to do. Teams never beat Roy Williams' teams when they shoot well, and on the rare occasions they do, it's because of rare turnovers.

I'm pretty sure UNC beats about 345 of the 348 teams in America with how they played last night.

Wisconsin and Arizona should go down to the last shot. For me this one is a coin-flip. however I have Arizona on my sheet to win. I'm hoping Arizona has better balance and team speed because Kaminsky is a better inside man than Zeus. I do, hover think Arizona has better rebounding from the rest of the team to offset Kaminsky's dominance. History on these teams is not on my side as Wisconsin is 2-0 against Arizona in the final 8.

I disagree with you. Kaminsky is the best player in college basketball in my opinion. Kentucky is good but they are not unbeatable.

Yeah, I foresee Okafor fouling out in the first 2 minutes of the game, which would kill any potential shot Duke would have against Kentucky.

Really, Brandon Ashley is the guys we have for Kaminsky. How that will work out remains to be seen.Last year Ashley was injured. We tried to put Zeus on him. It worked well inside, but then Kaminsky would just stay outside and shoot threes because Zeus couldn't get out there. Then we put Aaron Gordon on him and Kaminsky just backed him up down low because Gordon didn't have the size.

Brandon Ashley is 6'9" 230 and Kaminsky is 7'0" 234. Ashley has the quickness to guard the perimeter, and the size (along with a 7'4" wingspan) to make for tough shots around the rim for Kaminsky. It remains to be seen how effective he will be. Kaminsky is a very solid player, but hopefully we can just limit him to 10-15 points. Our rational for the loss last year is that if we had Ashley, he'd have been much more suited to guard Kaminsky, and Kaminsky wouldn't have hung 28 on us. I guess we'll find out on Saturday.
