You are seeing more and more people come out against the analytic guys who have taken over the sport. To me it is glorious.

The fact that Julio is considered a top talent in the game but most people don’t know who Arraez is just says there is something wrong with the priorities of the sport.

Agreed and apparently Dipoto is one of those people that don't know who he is because he missed on him twice.

I think Chipper nailed it and you can feel the hate for it in his voice.

I get their stuff in theory but all of their math equations don’t allow variables (or if they do, they don’t allow adjustments) much like the Air Raid in football, on paper it makes sense to go for it on every 4th down and only pass, but when it is freezing, raining or snowing in Pullman you can’t always pass and if it’s a close game you should punt

I loved Chipper's point about how young guys today don't care about RBI's only HR's. That is why they won't hit a grounder to middle infield to score a runner from 3B. Very telling.

That something I don’t understand. The younger players realize that if you hit a sacrifice fly you get a RBI and it doesn’t affect their BA right? I get they all want to hit HR’s but in case they haven’t realized in FA guys who hit .210 with 40 home runs aren’t getting huge FA contracts anymore.
