It looks as though Scot knows where we are at as a team. He knows this team is not currently built to win a championship next year and he's conducting business as such.

No plugging holes just to do so, drafting young cheap talent to unload contracts. He is playing the long game, he's drafting the best players he can get his hands on.

Culliver does not put us over the top. I hate to see him go, but I can kinda see Scot's plan and vision for this team. I'm just not used to it.

I can read between the lines, just pointing out why you get grief at times. And I agree, he's likely to get a better deal elsewhere.

Well from a knee stand point, I would have more optimism on a ACL that was done 5 months ago, over a microfracture that was done 2.5 months ago.

Culliver was also supposed to be ready, and knows the playbook. I get why we did it, but Im kinda over the whole master strokes mentality. This was about numbers plain and simple. They wanted to use the money else where.

Here is the thing that gets me... The touted plan was, the Fuller pick was a master stroke because we had depth in front of him and wouldnt have to rush him back from his microfracture procedure.

Now he is being touted as one of our top three corners. Just kinda makes you wonder. And if it was strictly money, why is Roberts still on the payroll? As a designated June 1st cut he saves $4 million.... SO theres that. For all the respect Scot is saying he has, Im kinda wondering on this one is all.

Maybe Im just feeling negative. But this sounds like a classic case of the team going to a guy and saying we need to lower your cap impact, the guy says no and the team says ok goodbye then.

Just shows me that the ''plan" can change rapidly based on what happens. And the goal is to be able to be changeable and moldable with versatile, young, tough, team oriented 'football' players

And that Scot keeps things super close to the vest and plays chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

You would think when Fuller was drafted Culliver is saying to himself im a goner. Plus what about the Toler signing. I think that impacted Cuilver too.

27 year old healthy CB's usually don't work cheap. Plus Culliver is proven. I cant see how he comes back here. Someone will pay him.
