Nice stats but if I am reading it right that is as compared to other rookies. Still not a bad stat line or a first year player. We also know the D sucked last year but I have high hopes that will change this year.

I thought we pushed it a bit a couple of times last year running little Simms in that role, but it seems perfect for AG. He's got the size and speed to both punish and tire out the defense. If a defense has trouble with him, the Skins can run plays through him over and over again. I could see him getting 10 or so touches one game and then just 2 or 3 the next - all depending on the defenses.

Thank you, I have been saying this for years. 3-4 was the base but they played lots of 4-3. Coaching has been the issue.

You have and I don't mean that as a dig. The coach that was here longest was here 5 years and a few games. He came with the mandate to change the offense for Griffin and only had Cousin's for three years. Changing the culture in the locker room sounds great but it has to start at the top where most problems started. Otherwise in 3-5 years there is a new coach getting to implement and all new culture.

Seems like a bit of advance excuse making to me. "Winning cures everthing"
Anyone familiar with this old refrain?

If you're in years 3-5 and that winning culture is just kicking into gear, you're out of a job and someone else is reaping the rewards of your hard work. The 30 minutes or less generation simply won't tolerate having to patiently wait that long for "possible" results.

Respectability for this team is a return to their historical 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 status. Ron Rivera has this year and next to reach that status, or the following two since games won't be played in 2020.

After that, (the 3rd year) if he's not actually winning games (9-7, 10-6, 11-5) instead of just beginning to have that "cultural" change (8-8, a shakey 9-7) take hold, then he's done.
