I don't know if that hurts or helps the Skins in relation to the rest of the NFL teams. It's definitely going to force a lot of teams to make cuts they wouldn't ordinarily make. But we have so many 1 year contracts that we'll still have cap room. Otoh, we'll need all of that cap room to re-fill the roster.

Considering the circumstances, I don't believe that there's going to be an actual "games played" season.
If need be, they'll play the games Jetsons style. EA Sports?

Ron Rivera is better than Shanahan or Joe Gibbs?

Skinsdad, you know thats not true. Shanahan actually won 2 SuperBowls and had a better record than Rivera ever has. Nobody has addressed the fact that RR only had 3 winning season in 9 freaking years! I didn't trust him the moment he accepted the job because didn't do a good job with the Panthers. Per Panther fans, RR was not involved in FA or the draft in Carolina and was just the coach. In other words, this is his first stab at running a draft and FA. He might be a good fit and he might not.

We all hope that he does a great job but by simply taking the job, that doesn't mean he has all the answers and we should blindly accept what he wants to do or is doing.

I am a Skins fan and support the team but I have serious doubts about Rivera and I would hope most fans do. That being said, the odd moves that have been made have been defended by some posters on here who appear to have blindly given allegance to him and Smith. This is Smith's first time at doing this and he said that in his Combine press conference. They are going to make mistakes. Dunbar torching the organization and now TW's agent demanding a trade do not paint Smith and RR in a good light. We are the only team who has had multiple players demand to get out this year. To confirm, this is both RR and Smith's dive into free agency and it is showing. I hope we win the Super Bowl next year and Rivera is coach of the year. However, the constant defending of every move and trade on the board by some posters here comes off as kissing the ring of RR and Smith. That might not be the intent but that is how it comes across.

Skinsdad did say better than any coach we've had since 92. And while that is just an opinion. It imo is a valid one. Neither Gibbs 2.0 or Shanny as HC of the Skins set the world on fire. During Gibbs 2.0 Joe G tried to be something he wasn't, a general manager, and Shanny it seems or so I've come to believe, was here more for the money than anything involving coaching.

I'd settle for a flying jet backpack if I was sure it wouldn't burn my ass off. Or I could fly it over something other than a large body of water. Being sure it wouldn't suddenly quit working and crash into a mating ball of rattlesnakes or cottonmouths while flying above land.

I still can't get over the fact that the world is planning on self-driving cars. But it apparently makes sense to the new generation - including my nephews who are otherwise normal people, so I think.

I'm starting to think this could be a huge advantage for the Skins and might even force the Cowboyz to release some big-time players if they're going to re-sign Dak. Skins will be able to gobble up those players and others. Players like Trent Williams will be sorely disappointed. 2021 could be the year for the Skins to make a big move.

I hear ya. I like getting lost all on my own. I don't need any robot to do it for me. Though those self driving cars they had in that Sly Stallone/Wesley Snipes movie back in the day were pretty cool. They filled up with a foam-like substance during a wreck encasing the driver/passengers.

Sadly though. I don't think we're seeing flying cars in my lifetime and if we do. I'll probably already be relegated to Too Old of a Coot to Drive Anymore status..
