Thinking its a good idea to make the exciting off season deal because staying the course would be too boring and as previously mentioned, you dont want to pay your own players in any case.

Thinking you can EASILY replace your own on the cheap, and bonus you get to make flashy moves come draft time.

To be fair. While the Skins always paid crazy money to FAs. It wasn't really Vinny who popularized the whole multiple picks for one player trades. That was Joe Gibbs and multiple deals of that nature, Brunell, CP, Jason Taylor, Rocky Mac etc. Took place during Gibbs 2.0 tenure. It was also under Gibbs 2.0 as well when the Skins became really stupid about re-signing their own or players seen as home-grown talent. The most egreious examples imo being Antonio Pierce, Ryan Clark, and Walt Harris.

I figured if you're gonna keep rolling out these narratives. The person most responsible for them. Joe Gibbs, should be given the proper credit for it at least one time.
