Why do they need $15 million in cap room? They have signed their big ticket FA for this year, Brian Orakpo.

Every day that goes by now the players still left become more of a bargain. I don't think the Redskins are being cheap at all. They paid Orakpo a lot of money and resigned Hall, Baker and Riley. I think you will see additional signings but at cap friendly numbers.

Washington May be content to roll with Polumbus and Compton this year at T. Not a ton wrt an upgrade there left in FA. There are still a few players worth looking at. Chester is gone. Bowen May be as well. With 13-15 mill left, we could still add several very good players/starters.

Free Agency isn't over after 2 days country and coach. Reserve judgement until it's over.

Those 3 players do not help us and by cutting them it saves us money there are still a lot of very good free agents left

But does it help us in the long run? That's the question you have to ask yourself. If you keep a Chester as depth, does that help this team? Do you think Lich will make it through a season uninjured? How about Montgomery? Maybe Gettis and Leribeus are poor scheme fits...who knows? Why cut a guy now without a plan? You want to cut Chester but who do you want to sign with that savings?
