On the plus side, we'll have no illusion of hope after this week if we had won and pulled close to the division lead. :)

Time to start learning and preparing for 2014. Hell of a ride last year, but no magic this season.

and thats the thing... Shanahan have been calling plays better suited for Cousins.

Without Griffin being the threat to run, like the 75 yard run in the Minnesota game last year, they essentially are the same guy.

And if the OL is going to get your QB beat up & shell shocked this year ... let it happen to Cousins & save Griffin until next year when they can get the OL fixed.

This team seems to get worse every week. Not seeing improvement anywhere.

I really bought in after last year, but now...

Cousins is better suited for the pocket QB play, Griffin is better suited for a bootleg play action offense.

Right now, this is probably true. Cousins has much more experience in the pocket.

I also think there has the be some frustration from Griffin's part because he simply doesnt have the same level of WR that he is used to playing with.

Flash Josh Gordan, Terrance williams, and other in Baylor's 4 wide sets. RG3 is missing another PRIMEtime receiver.

I simply don't think he will progress until he has a more consistent/reliable #2

That the biggest issue with Mike ... he loves the zone blocking scheme. Those guys might be quick & help alot with run blocking ... but they can not pass protect for shit.

I heart the hogs

Matt McGloin a walk on at Penn State and undrafted in the NFL has 3 TD passes in his first start. Griffin has through for 57 yards after 3 quarters. :lame:

Nope. That's why we shouldn't be calling for pocket passes so often until we can address this issue.

J_Y19 you just get it. I don't see why our coaching staff doesn't put RG3 in the best position to suceed.

And this goes back to the beginning of the season. Where we were not able to build off of play action passes due to the lack of running game.

Shady Young ... there is your rollout. It wasn't designed but it was effective. That is what Cousins can't do.

Also,

Cofield 2.5 sacks
Bowen 0 sacks
Jenkins 0 sacks.

So if i correctly extrapolate this data, these guys are neither getting to the QB or stuffing the running lanes.
