Santana Moss roster spot not looking very good with Aldrick Robinson stepping up

The emergence of receiver Aldrick Robinson continues to be a big topic, thanks to making some big plays last week in practice against New England and then again in the preseason game Thursday. He hauled in another deep ball from Griffin on Saturday, getting past corner DeAngelo Hall. “He practiced extremely hard all through OTAs and training camp,” Griffin said. “He’s a guy that pops off the screen.” In other words, he shows up a lot on the tape making plays. Robinson has made big plays in past summers, but with the added speed offensively, the Redskins can pair him with other fast wideouts. They can no longer just assume he’ll be the wideout going deep. Consistency, though, has always been his nemesis.

If Robinson can show the ability to be more than just a deep ball threat, Im fine with him taking Moss' roster spot. BUt you cant keep a guy who only has one ability.

He always had this ability just Shanny wanted Moss in there instead of him b/c he was a vet. Hopefully this staff will see that Robinson is worth more to this team than Moss right now. With Hank on the PUP he is a lock anyways.

I see Griffin and Cousins both struggled today in camp..Cousins threw an INT and Griffin threw 2 INT's to Breeland and Porter

What's wrong with garcon,djax, roberts, aldrick, grant, moss,. I think if you put grant on pc he be gone skins need 6 wr this year you can always but grant on inactive or moss

Haven't had a chance to check out all the info on today yet...but there's going to be good and bad days for every player. And if the O struggles with interceptions at least it means that our secondary is stepping up.....and are developing... God know we need that...

They are going to be so much better this season. One way of masquerading a bad defense is to keep them on the sidelines. Jackson gives them an excellent #1 WR.

He will spread the field and provide a legit deep threat... But the timing with Griffin needs to be spot on. Makes no difference if things don't gel...

Hatcher from the Boys was the biggest acquisition for us on D in FA...
