Our defense is like a bad baseball team, weak up the middle. I think a coaching change will help too.

I am not a personnel guy. The kid does have a live arm. He takes zero snap under center. Not real odd for a college QB. He throws backing up or off the wrong foot a lot. Big 12 type offense.

I'll agree he has the tools and many of these kids have bad habits that coaches do not look out for when these kids are under their tutelage. Important to remember he is in an offense similar to what Griffin was in at Baylor. Again doesn't mean he can't play in the NFL but it is not a certainty. Getting drafted is a certainty, how he adapts to the NFL is the unknown. I like his arm strength and he is pretty accurate. Hard to know how he handles the pocket in NFL. That is why they pay the GMs the big bucks, to figure that out.

Me either dad but if you look at some mock drafts they have him in the top 5. I am not a big believer in these drafts but I think he is considered the 3rd or 4th best QB coming out.

You guys like Peppers? Green is my favorite.
Anyway I don't see this Jabrill guy going in the top 15. Some mocks have him going as high as 3rd overall.
Is this dude BETTER than Sean Taylor? The only highlights I'm seeing of this guy are on returns or tackling RBs
without having to shed anyone. He is 5'10" 205...Is he the next Earl Thomas?
I'm not hating, I just haven't seen anything on tape or stats wise that suggest he will make a great center fielder.

Yea Im not a huge fan of him. I think hes a much better college player than he is an NFL prospect.

My wish list right now is

- Rueben Foster
- Jamal Adams
- Solomon Thomas

Not sure any of them will be there at 17 though.

I also do love Mahomes, but Im just gonna ignore that until I have reason to think we'll take a QB that early.

I like Budda. Pure free safety. Been slipping in the mocks lately, but it's so early. Combine will change a lot. Kinda reminds me of a poor man's D Hall.
