Why the hell is ron taking out perez at only 79 piches???

Why the hell is ron taking out perez at only 79 piches???![]()
He was on his way to a CG shutout
Nah. It was hot out and he was gassed. He lost control and didn't have movement. It was a good pull by Ron on that one.
mclellan is by far the weakest link in that pen. im sure wash had his reasons to not use scheppers, but when mclellan entered the game i knew there was about a 75% chance the game was over. this guy had good numbers in st. louis, but he has gotten shelled here. not just soft singles or seeing eye ground balls. everything is a line drive off of him, mostly for extra bases. his days are numbered. once soria is back its bye bye mclellan! which im fine with
Its one batter but Darvish's pitch sequence was very good to Choo, pounded the corners with fastballs and got him to chase a curveball down & OUT OF THE ZONE
On what planet is Phillips a clean up hitter?
I really hope Profar can pick up left field quickly. Murphy just looks like he has no clue or plan at the plate. He just goes up there and hacks. He's being exposed as an everyday player. He's good in his role of getting 350-400 AB's a season
Engel's bat has a little life in it, he's also looking at more pitches than I thought he would
Maybe we'll see more of Martin in LF the next couple weeks
