Kronwall is notorious for getting his shots from the point into the equipment of opposing players. Now, there's a guy that will never learn to do that the right way. Move your ass over to the right a bit, then let it go, you dummy.

Mrazek is clearly the #1 Star thus far. It really doesn't matter what the outcome of this game - he's at the top of the heap by far. One of the best games in net by any of our netminders all season long.

Still amazed at how much the powerplay has improved from the Start of the year

Some of our younger players have been so good with their sticks, quick like a cobra strikes. We all know how proficient Datsyuk is and Z can see things developing like a genius, but many of these younger guys are the real deal when it come to matching the quickness and effectiveness of gaining possession in close proximity of the opposing players who are attempting to carry the play in their own zone.

Our play in the neutral zone was better than it was in the 1st period, but unless we literally take that zone over, the Avs will give their game a big push. They have been one of the better teams in the latter part of the season to get back into games in the last period.

E played a solid game and Marchenko did a very nice job on the backend too.

Mrazek kept the Wings in the game during the first period, then the boys got there legs and played a really solid high speed game the rest of the way. The mid-ice zone coverage was really good tonight, well deserved win.
