We can't have miscues like the one Smith made. This guy just has such a problem focusing on the 'moment'. He has to learn that thoughts of 'what's next' isn't any kind of priority until you take care of this 'moment' first. How long is it going to take this guy to learn this?

Thanks to Quincey for getting his skate on that pass across the crease to prevent an easy touch for a goal.

We've done a decent job applying pressure in the Avs end to minimize their outlet passes, but we must be more responsible in the neutral zone.
