Still, the AS voting is a sham anyways.

Winners are picked by people in their parents basement with 1,000 emails to vote with.

have only seen first episode

it doesnt get any better, eh?

They're trying to hard to make it a "hit series"

Not really developing the characters, I read the book and I don't know who half the people are supposed to be.

i loved the book until the ending

didn't like the first episode, and if they are going to make this a continuing series beyond this year.......fuck that noise, I won't watch it

same goes for The Following, was just supposed to be a one and done deal.......like most Peyton Manning playoff teams

I just loved that there was a pitcher with "plunk" sewed on the back of his jersey. You can hear this guy's Legion Ball coach going, "Damn, son...name like that, you orta be on the mound."

Ian Kennedy should have "PLUNK" also on his back.

Oh and Luis Polonia, the gem of that trade

Well if it makes you feel any better, the Yankees gave up Jose Rijo to initially get Rickey, and the A's traded him here for 97 year old Dave Parker.

So while Rickey won an MVP after his trade back to Oakland, they traded away the piece most responsible for preventing him winning another World Series...

Yeah, that only makes me feel better.:yahoo:

I remember that whole stretch watching Rijo facing Drabek in those postseaon games, frustrated by where they both came from

23 year old Drabek for 92 year old Rick Rhoden summed up the 80's Yankees perfectly

The key piece to the Halladay trade

Don't even know if he is still hanging around the minors

Don't leave out Bob Tewksbury, Willie McGee, Fred McGriff, and Jay Buhner.
