Mentioned it earlier

Yes, Reg season

Considering, aside from 2008, the yanks are a virtual lock for the postseason for the past 17 years, regular season results have possibly never been more important than this season

Toss on the toughest division I've seen in the last 20 years

Toss in a possible 7 game win streak with KC and Minny coming in

Toss in a sweep of a division rival, and a rare loss of late by the Red Sox

That was as painful as I remember

Not as painful as going to bed with a comfortable 4 run lead and then seeing the next morning that the Sox blew that lead with 2 outs in the 9th.

Can he hit left handed pitching? If not? Not much help...

In the thick of things because of their pitching alone

If strengthening that area is their only recourse at this stage, I'll take it

And should mean less Joba, so all good

The next time the Nationals don't get an honorable mention when you post power rankings will be the last time that you post power rankings...

That's not a threat...

did you know the term "cracker" for white people comes from the sound of the whip cracking by their white masters?

Remember when Jacoby was terrible?

Since coming off the DL:

.360/.413/.488 in 29 games....15 stolen bases, 25 runs...that translated to 162 games would be 140 runs, and 84 SB's...

He's making himself a LOT of money right now...

Yes.

Which show did I hear people talking about that on recently?

I noticed he's been tearing it up

Couldn't believe he has 35 swipes, that seemed to come out of nowhere

I still think he lands in NY, on the other team in NY

VIERA, Fla. -- The teammates at his latest minor league stop have spent two games getting to know Alex Rodriguez.
And despite fans' boos and a 1-for-9 overall showing, they like him just fine, saying he's gone beyond acting like one of the guys to making an extra effort to talk baseball and share his knowledge of the game.
"He showed us injection sites that can't be detected," said Tampa third baseman Peter O'Brien, a 22-year-old University of Miami product. "He taught us to drink cider vinegar before drug tests and the nuances of shopping underground clinics. He has a lot of good connections for things."

If the yanks let Cano and Granderson walk..it wouldn't surprise me if he's your CF'er next year...I don't think he's getting 100m+...I think he's going to get about 5 years $75m...and if it's in that range? I want Boston to try and keep him...
