Hence, a guy that drives in more runs than the next guy, is a great measure of a player when comparing the 2

What you are doing... Is saying that a guy who hits a lazy fly ball to center field with one out and a man on 3rd is a better hitter than a guy who hits a line drive into the gap with no men on base.
