They really need a pass rusher but I just don't think they have a shot at anyone this cycle unless it's a three star they kind of take a flyer on.

ND is on a new Recruit. 4 Star LB Ellis Brooks. He will visit ND soon and then make a decision. Its between ND, Maryland and Oregon.

I saw this too. I hate losing guys, but at the same time, how solid was he to begin with? He stated he's reopening his recruitment bc of the fact that "Denbrock is likely leaving," and showing insecurities in case ND brings in a guy "that isn't as strong on me." I mean Denbrock hasn't even left yet, and for all we know, he may not. If you are REALLY an ND guy, wouldn't you wait until a decision is even made by Denbrock, and even then (I certainly don't see him him following Denbrock to Cincy), so... wouldn't you wait to see who is named as his replacement? This kid just seems fickle. Haven't seen him play, but I'm apt to think we may be better off without this kinda guy anyway.

If some leave cause of Denbrock, then they were not Irish to begin with. Look at all the recruits who have confirmed their commitment to ND after other coaches have left. Those are the kids we want. Not some 3 star WR who wants to leave before a decision has been made.

Hoping Denbrock stays...having hope considering it's not a done deal in Cinn....maybe, just maybe....BK has opened his eyes to what is going on, and is kissing ass now.

Yeah who leaves before a decision is really been made. He wasnt all in on irish. No big loss just sucks to see we only have 1 WR in this class.

Im ok with taking some fliers on some 3 stars now to fill up this class.

It is a huge loss probably staying in state or who the hell knows. This class isn't going to be very good but when you go 4-8 what the hell do you expect will happen.

Couple good OL, couple good TE, maybe Holmes and Ewell should be nice pieces. I like some of the quality, but the quantity is not great.

Sure they have some good players but not all at a position of need, particularly pass rush and defensive backs.

I'm just saying they got some good players, even for going 4-8. The class is not a complete wash because of it, assuming the fucking rest don't decommit.

They will need to do better on defense with the 2018 kids for sure. Hopefully the 10 win season they are about to have (yep, I said it) and the new DC can help with that.

It also tends to happen when all the guys who did the recruiting are gone. Sucks.
