I think UG she is going to.

This kid is a pure Pass rusher. I think he is going to be special if healthy.

Bold Statement coming....... I think he can break the sack record at ND if he picks ND.

When did ND start keeping sack records? I think it was relatively recently. I was there for three of Ross Browner's years at ND. I've never seen an ND player dominate on the D-line like Browner did (of course he had Willie a Fry on the opposite end). I'd love to see someone go through the old films and count up Ross' sacks, just to see where he ranks. I realize that there was less passing back then, but I'd still be surprised if Browner wouldn't have been at the top of that list.

They said the same thing about Deacon Jones in the NFL. If sacks were recorded in his day, nobody in the modern era would come close.

Tuck has the single season record of 13 1/2 sacks.

Tuck had 43 career tackles for loss. (#3 in ND history in 3 years of playing). Ross a Browner had 77 TFL in his 4 years. (#1 in ND history) but I don't think that they distinguished sacks from tackles for loss until 1982.

back then you could head slap someone too, that was one of Deacon's go to moves, a hard blow to the helmet.

Beal Video. Man we need this kid.

Athletic, quick, smart kid (football wise) who can recognize the play and force the guy outside. Has good speed. All he did was use that speed and power to beat the OT. I think I saw one swim move at the end? What I saw on tape, wont work in college. Then again he has this season and next to work on some moves. He size is interesting to me. Hope he commits, which I think he will. He wanted to go here but was pressured to join his sister. Let's hope this is not dragged out.

I also think he will commit again but I don't think it will be during the Irish Invasion. I think that camp will solidify to him that Notre Dame is the number one place to be for him but he won't commit until after their 12 game but before the bowl game. Beal will wait it out a while to re-commit..........just my thought

Think he'll "silent" commit?

Isn't Beal from Georgia? Pretty good timing with the fact ND plays at UGA and at Ga. Tech in 2019, which would be his junior season. Also play at Duke in 2019, which is just a 5 hour drive from Norcross to Durham.

I can't say, and evidently he can't either. We're in airplane mode. If he does we'll just say the eagle has landed for code.

BIG NEWS! ND just struck GOLD! #1 Dual-threat QB (per 247Sports) Phil Jurkovec just committed to ND over offers from PSU, Pitt, OSU, Clemson, Bama, MSU, UNC and Wisconsin. He said, " I came here with the intent of committing. It's just the right fit for me. The whole education of Notre Dame from the books to the spirituality, the whole university and everything that it offers I just fell in love with." Said he looks forward to playing for BK and Sanford.

GO IRISH! ONWARD TO VICTORY!

Yup plenty of time to flip him but at least the QB situation looks solid even if it happens late in the process and Notre Dame don't get a QB

Plenty of time for Urban "Rene Belloq" Meyer to try and steal him away. He's their top QB target too.
This kid wants to be Irish. He had no reason to commit. he even said he wanted to wait until after his Jr year but after visiting and seeing what ND offered he couldnt say no. He said there is no place better. I feel this kid will stay unless something major changed(like new HC or sanford leaves). He is a big fan of Sanford.

I'm a sucker, I always get my hopes up when I hear some good news like scoring a huge recruit. Definition of insanity you might say.
