I just read on scout.com that their site is predicting that Daelin Hayes is going to pick the Irish tomorrow over Michigan and OSU. Let's hope they're right. GO IRISH!

I hope they are right I think it's Michigan State not Michigan, and Ohio State cancelled an in home visit so I have to believe they are out or he said he was committed and they didn't bother.

an update on Notre Dame commits, both Julian Love and Jalen Elliott are now 4 stars according to Rivals due to strong senior seasons.

We can really use a player like Hayes. Im really starting to love this class. It started off slow but has picked up the last couple of months.

Daelin Hayes day. Looks like us and Mich St. Both Kelly and Dantonio were at his house this week. Cancelled with Urban so speculation is its a two man race. I wouldn't write off Mich St. They were the first to offer.

I think we've cracked the top 10 now at least. I reacall the wailing and gnashing of teeth before the season when we were in the high twenties for a ranking. Two things happened. A lot of 3* guys we jumped on early are getting bumped up at the end of the year and we're closing on some bigger fish late. Having a somewhat successful season made a difference.

I for one would like to go out with a win, and see if Kelly can put back to back 10+ win seasons, if not getting to playoffs next year.

stranger things have happened , we're probably one five star and one four star away. I don't expect it but remember when Teo committed, I don't think too many saw that coming. Cross your fingers.

Does he have injury issues? A friend of mine from Michigan says that Hayes was always injured during high school, although he acknowledged that the kid has amazing talent.
