Another great pick up for Notre Dame if they land Tevon Coney the class will be complete. I've figured all along they were going to take 25 in this class and not bring back hardly any 5th years from what I've seen from the likes of Heagarty/Martin and Hanratty this year why in the world would you keep them around and Grace/Councill haven't ever made much of an impact. Right now the only two guys I would keep around are Golson and Schmidt maybe Williams if he comes back (I think he would be a 5th year player but maybe I'm wrong).

Williams and Russell both indicate they want to come back. Barring any changes, Williams, although a 5th year player, will not have graduated by Fall 2015. Both are necessary for depth. I'd consider keeping secondary depth. Don't know if Grace will ever be 100% again, and Councell seems like the odd man out in this defense, he was built for a 3-4 OLB, he's not a solid fit, much like Doug Randolph. Martin should come back for a 5th year, not sure about Hanratty or Hegarty. Keeping Hegarty healthy has always been an issue and even when healthy, the results are, at best, mixed. He's definitely the weak link on that OL this year. Someone's gonna have to step up and replace Lombard. I foresee McGlinchey getting that role. Quentin Nelson will likely take Ronnie Stanley's slot on the right side, but they may move him inside for a year to get experience.

I wouldn't keep any of the O-Lineman but if they did keep one I would expect it to be Martin. Also with Russell coming back I don't see them keeping too many 5th years from the group of Brown, Atkinson, and Hardy (I believe he would be a 5th year if he comes back at all).

Also are any of those guys going to be better than Dale, Buncom, Ross, Tell, Marshall or Fitzpatrick in the secondary or better than one of the elite targets they are looking at? I would say no.

Players coming back are Williams, Russell, Martin. Maybe Kelly keeps 1 of the other OLmen. Overall I think we see 3.

I think they take as close to 25 guys as possible and be damned with 5th years.

Very true. Kelly is bringing in some top talent so yes he would take close to 25 as possible. We can take 25 plus keep Russell, Williams and Martin. U know kids will transfer. I bet one of the QBs leave if Golson stay plus we will lose another kid or 2.

Stars aligned on this one for us. Our trajectory is up, Florida's is down. Its doubtful Muschamp survives this season. Hell, he may not even survive this weekend. I think the way our team, especially our defense is playing, and the fact that, if you're talented enough, even if you're a freshman, you'll see the field.

I'm very happy the way the recruiting has gone. Win games and the recruits will follow. I think it was critical to have a good showing against Florida State so these kids can see the sky is the limit for the Irish.

I know were after Sontonye Jamabo and Equanimeous St. Brown. Who else are we in the mix on?

We are in with St. Brown, SoSo and Safety Calvin Brewton, RB Nick Brossette, Aliz'e Jones, and Cordell Broadus,

ND has hit home runs as of late. They are landing all their targets. ND next commitments look to be from St. Brown, Soso and Jones. I think that will finish the class.

If Brown, Soso and Jones are it than it will be one great class.

I think St. Brown is our top target, but man alive, how hilarious would it be to get Snoop's kid. It's already pretty well known that the rich and famous want their kids to attend ND: David Robinson, Tori Hunter, John Bon Jovi, hell, I think even Gov. Christie's kid goes to ND (although she's not on the football team). This keeps up, they are going to need a red carpet, velvet rope and private security for the gold seats.

Also Wimbush took a big jump on espn to the #2 Dual threat QB, of course they moved Barnett to a pocket passer but basically Notre Dame lost the #2 Dual threat and then got the new #2 dual threat QB. Also Wimbush had said he expected Minkah Fitzpatrick to officially visit Notre Dame any chance we can flip him?

I think Brossette is the back up plan if Soso doesn't commit to us. A lot of Rumors that Jones is going to flip from UCLA to ND. He is the #1 TE in the country.

I am loving this class. Started some what slow with a lot of 3 stars but as of late we are landing lots of 4 and 5 star players. IF you guys think this class is good wait until the 2016 class. They are predicting #1-#3 class. If you build it they will come.
