Very nice pick up for ND. Most had a feeling that this would happen. It nice to land a top QB every year.

They are saying the next 3 to commit is Henry, Coney and Soso. Bial is still up in the air. Lets Hope we land at least one of the 2 (Coney or Bial).

I love how we recruit. We haven't had this kind of success in recruiting, developing and on the field at the same time in a long time. Kelly and staff doing one hell of a job. Weis gave us recruiting but not performance. Weis had trouble developing the players.

We apparently picked up a commitment from Bo Wallace (no, not the Ole Miss QB). A DE/OLB from Louisiana. 3 star out of rivals with pretty decent offers. 2015 recruit.

Yeah I just saw that on espn who have him as a 4 star OLB right now (could take a hit now that he's Irish). I think Notre Dame view him as a DE I thought he might be the next guy to commit considering some of the things I've read about his summer visits and how much his parents loved Notre Dame. Also getting another player out of the talent rich state of Louisiana and one of the top high schools in the state is also a great thing.

Wallace is a BIG pick up. I know he is a 3/4 star recruit but they say he is one of the best pass rushers in the country.

I think ESPN has him as a 4 star. Some have him at 3 and some at 4. Either way who cares. He is a big time pass rusher.

This is a great pick up they needed to get a pass rusher in this class and now they have one and might not be done.

Here are some updated Info on some players we are still trying to land.


Tevon Coney 4 star LB will choose on Oct 23rd. It looks like its ND all the way here. Word is Florida doesn't have a spot for him.


For Asmar Bial this might be bad news because ND might not take him now because he is taking too long. ND still would take him if he makes a decision soon if not they might move to Kirkland.


SoSo jambo having trouble picking between UCLA and ND. Most people feel ND is still in the lead but its 50/50 right now in my opinion.


5 star Henry is has a big weekend this weekend. He is visiting FSU. Even though a loss should hurt ND here but a win would help I would think.


2015 recruiting:


4 star S Frank Buncom now has Irish and Stanford even. ND made a nice push here. Stanford was the Fav for a long time.


Top TE Aliz Jones UCLA commit is expected back for ND banquet. This is great news for ND.


CB Ykili Ross has finally got his grades up or scores to go visit ND now. Talk between ND and Ross is starting to heat up.


RB Nick Brossette now has ND as #2. He is committed to LSU right now but Loved his ND visit and is looking hard at ND.


5 star CB iman Marshall, 4 star S Marvell Tell, 4 star WR Cordell Broadus and 4 star DT Christian Wilkins will Visit ND by year end.

Word from ISD guys is that ND plans on taking as many as they can. They'll take the full compliment of 25 if they can, even if that technically puts them over, they're counting on some attrition or possibly not offering as many 5th years to do it. The short version is, they said they weren't going to say no to any of their remaining targets, while still holding out for St. Brown, Jambo or others.

Yup I just saw that. I guess he saw the writing on the wall. Commit or lose out at playing at ND. THat means Kirkland is out now. We landed 3 very very good LB's. Great class so far.
